How were these two things impressed to me?  And how can I say with certainty that they were strongly placed on my heart?  For one, they came to me through my being made aware of them in the Bible in ways I hadn’t seen them before.  I had a revelation, seeing something in some particular verses I hadn’t seen before.  Then, they came to me over and over again, so much so that I preached on these topics a number of times in a short space of a few weeks.

 Beyond this, there was confirmation from many in the church during the time I shared these messages.  And as I would say how strongly I felt first the one theme and then the other, others testified they were hearing the same things in their spirit.  So I can say without any hesitancy that these two things have been revealed to us and are intended to give us confidence and guidance on into the future.

 This is how God works, both in our individual lives and in our corporate life as a church body.  He speaks to us through His word, He confirms it through others or circumstances, and He uses it to guide us as we live for Him.  His goal?  To get glory for Himself; to demonstrate His faithfulness to His word and to His promises.

 Remember, the law gives sin all of its strength (I. Cor. 15).  The law is the great danger to your spiritual life; avoid it at all costs.  And we live in a time when the Lord will soon be our only source for health, but that’s the good news!  He wants to heal as a witness of His power (Luke 12), He will heal when we have no where else to turn, and many will be saved as they experience the healing power of Jesus Christ!
